The following documentation is needed when forwarding the application form to the school:

• Copy of Learners Birth Certificate
• Copy of Learners Clinic Card
• Latest School report if the Learner was attending a school or crèche
• Relevant doctors reports

The Gateway School unfortunately has a waiting list so the learner cannot be admitted immediately.  This waiting list is in the format of an A (inside the feeder area) and B (from outside the feeder area).  These are according to the rules of the Department of Education and are strictly adhered to.

The Gateway School has a waiting list as per above for the Afrikaans section as well as the English section of the school.

Once the application form has been completed and forwarded to the school we request that the parent/guardian keep in contact with the school via a telephone call once a month so that the school and the parent/guardian can be kept up to date on the progress of the child as well as the position on the waiting list.
